Bio
At the age of 7 years, Melbourne born actor Palmer Marchese started out with the Gold Coast Little Theatre after moving to the Gold Coast, Queensland then found a love of acting for Film and Television. Palmer moved to Brisbane as a young teenager and has appeared in various Short Films, Feature Film, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Comedy Theatre, TVC's, theTV Series ‘The Sleep Over Club’ and more recently Co-Hosted Network Ten's Australian National no. 1 Cartoon TV Show, 'Toasted TV'.
Amongst various acting and voice training courses over the years. High Baritone, Palmer Marchese began his vocal and dance training in January 2007 while studying Musical Theatre with the Australian Dance Performance Institute. Palmer played the lead role of Zeke and Cover for Troy in Gold Coast Arts Centre stage production of 'Disney’s High School Musical'. Played the main role in an award winning short film 'Spokes' Directed by Peter Ireland, also nominated for an IF award for 'Best Short FIlm' and played the main characters in Director Leah Pellinkhof's Comedy Theatre production of 'My Pet Human', nominated for a Matilda Award. He starred in a supporting role for the Feature Film 'Just Like U' to be released in 2011 and secured a 5 mth theatre contract touring Italy for 2011.
On 7th August 2009, Palmer was awarded at the 23rd Warner Roadshow (QNFA) Film Awards the Best Male Actor Award for his role in 'Isn't it lovely Down By The Sea'. Directed by Thomas E Graham and Produced by Liam Crain.
Palmer has trained with the Queensland Theatre Company, Australian Dance Performance Institute, Jon Simmons; Simmons & Scott Ent. Los Angeles, Lydiard & Rossi, Australian Acting Academy, Tom McSweeney, TAFTA, Greg Moore Productions, Melissa Agnew and Claire Crothers.
Palmer also loves singing, writing music and songs, voice overs, especially animation voice over, acting for Film & Television, doing comedy and loves the challenge of playing diverse roles and characters and being able to utilise a variety of accent skills.
When Palmer is not working or training, he spends his spare time chilling with friends, watching movies 'new and old', researching his favourite all time actors, writing music and songs, going to beach and countryside locations with mates to kick a footy and practice backflips.
